# What is HeyCounsel?

HeyCounsel is a marketplace platform specifically designed to connect early-stage startups with experienced fractional legal advisors. By offering startups access to a network of fractional lawyers, we aim to empower founding teams to navigate complex legal landscapes with ease, while optimizing costs and incorporating legal strategy into their growth plans.

HeyCounsel handles the entire journey of finding and working with a startup client, from search and discovery, to consultation scheduling, engagement agreements, invoicing and billing, and more.

Our lawyers come from top in-house legal departments and specialized firms, providing industry-specific expertise and a builder mentality. HeyCounsel also equips these legal professionals with comprehensive backend support, ensuring seamless collaboration and a high-quality service experience.
