Attorneys manage any active engagements via the Engagements tab.
By clicking into the client profile cards or selecting "View Engagement", you'll be able to navigate to the Engagement Subpage for that specific client engagement.
You'll be able to message with your client from this portal. Keep messages on the platform at an administrative level, only discussing operational matters. You shouldn't be discussing anything you'd like to keep privileged here.
This is where you'll see the details you included in your proposal and which were accepted by the client. This information is not editable, but reach out to support@heycounsel.com if you see any errors. You do not need to invoice exactly in accordance with this information, but you'll want to make sure your client agrees to your proposed billing structure and amount before sending an invoice.
You and your client should use this space to upload documents regarding your engagement here. You can upload engagement scope changes, documented rate changes, equity grant documents, and any other operational documents here.
This is also where we leave a copy of the original signed Platform Engagement Agreement, along with timestamps showing when each side signed the agreement.
